It cost...You can tested for MTHFR via 23andme.com. It costs $99. However, it requires a lot of saliva and I'm not sure if you can get Mira to spit that much. Another option is to run an MTHFR test (blood draw) and it will tell you. Any doctor can run that. It does not cost $3,000. Maybe a couple of hundred (maybe). But also for $495, you can get tested for the whole methylation cycle. If your wife is heterozygous, then Mira mostly has 1 (but not 2) of those mutations from your wife. It is less likely that the mutations are in a single gene. You also have to take into consideration whether you may have the mutation as well. I hope you find this helpful.
