Video Test

So we bought another gadget - a 'Flip' video camera that holds up to 30 minutes of video and is no bigger than a cell phone. It was marked down from $150 to $60 on Amazon, so I'm not sure how great it works. I just created a little Mira video of her to see how it does. The resolution looks great on our laptop(s), but comes out pretty poor here and it's jumpy - not sure what the deal is.

Marc...you are too funny. By the way, what software do you use to download videos from your camera to your laptop? I think it looks pretty clear. What a great deal.

Thanks, Elaine - there is software built into the camera so it is super easy to use. For $60, you can't beat it - after it is downloaded, I just modify and make the video in Microsoft Moviemaker, which is very easy to use.

The video looks good to me on my iPod! I will have to look into the flip video thing.

I think Mira just wants to see her tootsies!

I thought the video looked great! We have a flip, too. Ours is hard to use in that to get the files off of it, you have to wedge a couple magazines under the player because the USB connection isn't on a wire - it's a straight out thing. So, the weight of the player drags it down and causes the USB thing to lose connection...it's ridiculous! But, otherwise, we LOVE the Flip.

Yes - I end up wedging a couple of CD cases under it when I plug it in and that seems to work. The resolution on my laptop from the video itself ROCKS. I love it.
