Mira's mercury lab results came back today and they were normal. We can at least for now rule out any heavy metal toxicity. The other great news of the day is that the rash (non-Lamictal related) that has been so persistent on her face and chin has improved enormously over the past few days. We took her to the pediatrician late Friday afternoon and got a stronger prescription for an anti-inflammatory ointment that worked wonders. We had tried Lamisil and a few other remedies for months, but nothing had worked up until now.
I must get back to pumping the constant stream of water seeping into our basement from the brutal rain/hail storm he received here in KC late this afternoon. Nothing beats the constant hum of the wet/dry shop vac running for 4 hours.......
